Networking is an essential part of career success, helping students build meaningful connections, discover opportunities, and develop professional confidence. At the Impact Center, providing students with a variety of networking opportunities is central to our mission of preparing them for life after Muskingum.
- Networking 101: Offered every semester to help students learn the basic skills of networking
- Level Up Your LinkedIn: Lead by Muskingum alumna Heather Hughes ’11, this workshop provides students with the skills to build a profile that gets noticed.
Our Speed Networking program gives students the chance to practice their introduction skills and build quick, meaningful connections with alumni and employers. In a fast-paced format, students rotate through short conversations that help them grow confidence, expand their network, and learn from professionals across industries. Speed Networking events occur throughout the year.
Pour & Explore is our spring networking event for students aged 21 and over, combining professional connections with a guided wine experience. Students engage with alumni and employers in a relaxed setting while a certified wine educator leads a tasting that blends learning, conversation, and networking.
The Khanna Career Connections Conference is our premier networking event, bringing together students and alumni for a day of career conversations. Through interactive sessions and dedicated networking time, students make meaningful connections with professionals who can share advice, mentorship, and pathways into their industries.
