Internship: Students may participate in internships and receive credit for them. Click here to access the Internship Approval Form.

Short-term, remote, paid projects:
The Impact Center has partnered with Parker Dewey to offer micro-internships. These are short-term, paid, remote professional assignments that are great opportunities to demonstrate skill and build experience.

What you need to do before you can work on campus:
Visit the Human Resources Office (Montgomery Hall 16).
The most used forms of identification are:
- A photo ID AND a Birth Certificate
- Or, photo ID AND social security card
- Visit the Student Employment page for other forms of acceptable identification
Once all the required documents have been completed you will receive an email from Human Resources with a Certificate of Work Authorization.

Use TalentedU, a free online career readiness program designed to help you build the professional skills employers are looking for. By completing short, interactive modules, you’ll strengthen your communication, leadership, and workplace skills to stand out in job and internship applications.
You will also have the option to earn Credly badges for each module you complete to add to your resume and LinkedIn profile.
Search Jobs and Internships: Customize with Filters
- At the top of the feed, you’ll see options to Filter.
- Select the filter buttons to customize your search.
- In the filter menu, select On-Campus
- Apply the filter, and the feed will now display only Muskingum University campus jobs.
In each career community (find yours from the main menu on the Impact Center home page), you may sign up to receive customized job and internship opportunities based on your major and career interests.
