The Industrial Electronics Maintenance Technician works as part of the Maintenance team to ensure all equipment related to the production of tools is in working order and capable of meeting production quantity goals and quality standards. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Troubleshooting electronic/electrical related problems on machines, motors, and/or other equipment.
• Maintain operational status of all electronic/electrical equipment.
• Perform machine maintenance tasks/activities as assigned by Maintenance Manager.
• Ensure equipment and systems are maintained to manufacturers’ specifications for optimal performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery per schedule or as assigned / requested.
• Maintain proper maintenance records and documentation as required.
• Evaluate new and replacement electronic/electrical hardware as requested or required.
• Monitor maintenance supplies and notify Maintenance Manager when supplies need replaced.
• Maintain all work areas in a safe, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations, including wearing and maintaining appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Duties or tasks to support Building Maintenance, as requested.
Experience & Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience required.
• Degree, training program completion, and/or certifications preferred.
• Working knowledge and understanding of basic electricity and electronics is required.
• Must be able to read hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
• Superior troubleshooting skills – ability to identify problems and gather data necessary to diagnose and correct the issue.

• Ability to do hands-on work.
Must be computer literate / functional – Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
• Solid understanding and ability to use precision measuring devices, gauges, and a variety of both hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to drive a forklift and aerial lift – training / certification will be provided.
• Flexibility to work within changing business conditions, technologies, and priorities.
• The ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
• Strong organization, planning, interpersonal and communication skills that support working collaboratively with others.
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, through email / electronic media, and over the phone.

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. This position requires regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Other requirements are:
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (not on a regular basis)
• Must be able to climb a ladder, use a forklift and/or aerial lift. Training on forklift and aerial lift will be provided.
• Must have flexibility of hands / fingers for handling small and/or fragile parts, electrical wires, etc.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and grasp to perform the duties of the position.
• Visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses, to ensure ability to read small / fine print.
