The Event Manager Intern will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of
campaign events (Hot Dog Eating Contests). The intern will gain valuable experience
in event logistics, vendor management, client communication, and on-site event
operations.
1.Event Planning Support:
– Assist in brainstorming and conceptualizing event themes, layouts, and programs.
– Help with the creation of event timelines and checklists.
– Support in-sourcing and coordinating with vendors, SWAG, signage, marketing
materials, and AV teams.
2. Event Logistics:
– Aid in the coordination of event materials, such as name tags, signage, and
promotional items.
– Assist in managing event budgets by tracking expenses and helping with financial
reconciliations.
– Support the event committee in creating detailed event schedules.
3. Social Media:
-Assist with the creation of a flyer(s) or other promotional material for Hot Dog
Eating Contests.
-Create a timeline for social media posts regarding Hot Dog Eating Contests.
-Assist with taking photos during events.
4. Onsite Event Support:
– Participate in event setup and teardown, ensuring all elements are in place and
meet quality standards
– Help manage volunteers
– Provide on-site support during events, including coordinating with participants,
assisting guests and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
5. Community and Stakeholder Communication
– Assist in maintaining clear and effective communication with community
members, vendors, and other stakeholders.
– Help draft and distribute event-related communication materials, including emails,
agendas, and reports.
6. Post-Event Evaluation:
– Assist in gathering and analyzing feedback from attendees and stakeholders.
– Contribute to post-event debrief meetings, helping identify areas of
improvement for future events.
– Support in creating event reports and documenting best practices.
