Amber graduated in 2001 with a degree in Psychology and Sociology. She went on to pursue graduate studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she earned an M.A. in Student Affairs in Higher Education in 2003 and an Ed.D. in Administration and Leadership Studies in 2010.

As Vice Provost for Academic Success and Dean of University College at IUP, she leads initiatives that promote achievement, retention, and engagement. Her role centers on supporting students throughout their academic journey—helping them explore goals, connect with resources, and build a sense of belonging. She works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and university partners to create programs that empower students to thrive personally and academically.
